Hi there. So. Um.
There used to be a longwinded explanation here of why Chocolatey Goodness is on hiatus, filled with apologies and hopes for bringing it back. I figure it's about time to shorten the wind, take stock again, and cut the apologies down to just the one: "It's probably going to stay where it stands; sorry there isn't a firmer ending, but that's as far as I was able to take it before I lost the ability to make it work for me."
I'm not saying I'll never get a second (or, okay, seventh) wind and pick it up again. I'm saying it's fairly unlikely. I regret that, but it is what it is. I love the pairing, I love the characters, I'm enormously pleased and grateful that people have enjoyed it, but I stopped loving the writing of CG before I actually stopped writing it, and that hasn't come back. I've had to stop letting myself feel guilty about that.
There is an epilogue, though, set in the middle of season 5, called Painted Hearts. It's NC-17, and it isn't new; it's been posted to my livejournal before, but up til now I hadn't added it to the website.
