Ferrets and speedos, Gomer and grandpas, Spike's desire for Angel to love him and Xander's gamble at letting Spike go. That they could have this honest discussion about What Happened while Spike was comforting Wesley - that Xander *still* hasn't been honest about not really letting go - it all touches a big knot of Don't Go There that I'm afraid will untangle and spoil everything (which is S & X's fear as well) ...and then it doesn't. It's being addressed bit by bit, and there's the argument that it needs to be addressed if they are to become that much closer....Doesn't mean it has to happen all at once. I like the way it's progressing - in little intimate conversations here and there. It's very real - want to wright more, but you just showed up! |

I could smell, taste, see, & feel Victorian England.. I loved meeting Spike's mom, she was sweet...I think the whole gang should go there, and pick on other world Angel...why? cause I'm evil.... I just adored the hot sex, the teasing..yum, all of it.. The kisses, man, I want a Vampire Husband...Hell, he could sleep with men, so as long as I can watch...'evil, remember?' I'm just along for the ride of debachery, er, how ever ya spell it..Bwahhahh! I have the best pout...I saw it on BTVS, when Spike is waiting for Buffy by the tree, and, she just had got dissed by the Vampire that told her she 'smelled, and that he didn't want to bite her. But, Spike wants her, and, OMG, his baby-sweet pout..!(look at it, THAT IS POUT # 1!) It happened so fast the first time I saw it, I didn't notice, but, thank you for your series! Xander pouts so cute, and Angel, and Wes, and even Gunn, (see, I just didn't notice, but now thanks to you, I do!) Anyhoo, the "Pout Master", is Spike....I have now watched that pout over 20 times, and, my legs still shake and I get weak all over...mmmmmmmm I heard a rumor, I hope it is real, but, according to Nicky, (Xander, duh!) And, Joss confirmed it, but, he could of been teasing, or pulling our chains... BECAUSE WE ALL KNOW, HE IS EVIL!!! But, Xan & Spike in season 7, are supposed to be, shudder, sigh... 'Domestic Partners'.. Man I hope so! I just love the sexy banter between those 2! If this is true, then, ha! You 2 have been Jossed! Er, I know UPN is 'hip' and all, ie, the "Zipper heard round the world', The Blow Job in GONE..? , the handcuffs, wow! (and that was just Spike and Buffy gettin' kinky..' Just imagine where his little depraved mind could go?? Hell, the 'Spuffy' is the reason I started reading 'slash' fiction in the first place... not tryin to sound like Harm, but, "I just don't like the way she's been treatin' MY Spikey...Ok, off of my soap box now...But, yeah, I loved the Honeymooners best. Lorne, Spike/Xander/Dru, Spike/Wesely friendship and how Spike got Wes together with Angel and Gunn. Now I know that is half and half the two stories but I am develping a real soft spot for Lorne now that there is no more Lindsey. And I like Xan/Spike best. |

The story brought out the humor and love in their relationship. It's very cool that Spike and Anya are so secure in the relationships they have with Xander and Giles that they gave them the gift of Giles giving Xander such a cool wedding present. I'd love to read the stories about what Xander did to Giles' cars! Beezlebub too! :) Spike getting naked in the lobby? Oh Yeah! |

Which may be shocking since I've taken to reading aloud select passages of Wet Wedding and the batchelor party to the people around myself who are attempting to plan my wedding and batchelorette party. I frequently state I hate angst, and this story is just plain chock full of angst. And I do. Hate angst that is. But secretly, I like it. And this story not only has angst, but it has a resolve of the angst (not perfectly, since there has to be And Truth in Every Sheperd's Tongue) Fine! I'll say it! I'm a sucker for a happy ending! Packed with gigglesnorts galore, too many adorable moments to count, and alterna-selves for contrast, this one is meaty and long enough for a very satisfying read. The irony is that I surfed over here tonight because I had an absolutely miserable day, and wanted the soothing balm of Salad Days to take the edge off. Honeymooners won'd do, because it has to be read in full to get the full effect, and I need the saccharine injection NOW, darnit. |
